“Nature" is what we see--

“大自然”者，我们目之所遇也--

The Hill--the afternoon--

山恋--下午--

Squirrel-Eclipse--the Bumble bee--

松鼠--日食--野蜂--

Nay--Nature is Heaven--

不仅如此--大自然是天国--

Nature is what we hear--

大自然是我们耳之所听--

The Bobolink--the sea--

食米鸟--大海--

Thunder--the Cricket--

轰轰的雷鸣--蟋蟀的哼哧--

Nay--Nature is Harmony--

不仅如此--大自然者，谐调一致也--

Nature is what we know--

大自然是我们所认识的

Yet have no art to say--

但却难以用语言去描述

So important Our Wisdom is

我们的智慧是如此无力

To her Simplicity.
